Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 per year A bit about us: Our company, a
leading player in the Accounting and Finance industry, is seeking a
seasoned Tax Manager to join our dynamic and high-performing team.
As a Tax Manager, you will be instrumental in managing and
facilitating the accurate preparation and filing of our company’s
state and federal tax forms. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in business tax strategies, high net individual tax
returns, and S&C tax. This position requires at least 5 years
of experience in a similar role. Why join us? Responsibilities: 1.
Oversee and manage the preparation and filing of all federal and
state tax returns. 2. Develop and implement strategic tax planning
for all necessary federal and state taxes. 3. Manage members of the
tax team as they prepare components of the company's US federal
income tax return and state tax returns. 4. Manage the
organization's tax policies and objectives. 5. Monitor legislative
and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of
these developments to management and the tax team and create
strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation. 6.
Provide support with various internal audits and special tax
related projects. 7. Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax
projections. 8. Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits:
preparing responses, creating schedules, etc. 9. Manage and
coordinate tax audits. 10. Maintain tax balances on general ledger.
11. Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all
information data requests. Job Details Qualifications: 1.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required (Master’s
preferred). 2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
required. 3. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a tax manager or public
accountant role. 4. Strong accounting, analytical, and research
skills. 5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both
written and oral. 6. Solid understanding and experience with
federal and state tax returns for high net individuals and S&C.
7. Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and
passion to learn and grow. 8. Strong leadership and personnel
management skills. 9. Analytical abilities and aptitude in
problem-solving. 10. Proficiency with tax return software. This is
