Part-Time Payroll Specialist Our client, a mission-driven healthcare organization, is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Payroll Specialist to support their dynamic team. This is an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist who excels at auditing timecards, processing unique pay structures, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution. With a team of 38-40 employees, including hourly and salaried staff, this Payroll Specialist role involves tracking shift differentials, mileage reimbursement for clinical staff, and occasional out-of-process pay. The right candidate will be comfortable working independently, interfacing with department managers as needed, and using digital tools to manage payroll tasks in a web-based environment. Key Responsibilities: Part-Time Payroll Specialist Review and audit employee timesheets for hourly and salaried staff, with attention to shift differentials, stipends, and mileage for clinical roles. Track additional pay earned from extra shifts and ensure mileage entries are accurately reported. Enter data into BambooHR or a similar HRIS platform and monitor for accuracy Liaise with department managers to verify approvals for out-of-process pay Maintain documentation and reporting for payroll audits Communicate effectively via Microsoft Teams and email Preferred Qualifications: Part-Time Payroll Specialist Knowledge of payroll best practices, including shift differentials and mileage tracking Experience with web-based payroll and HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently INJUN2025 ZRCFS
