DescriptionThere is an excellent opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client through Accountemps. Are you proficient at multitasking, communicating, organizing, and managing your time? In this role, you will carry out all general accounting and bookkeeping functions, including but not limited to assisting in preparing financial statements, and month/quarter/year-end. This is an on-going Full Charge Bookkeeper position and is located in Corvallis, Oregon.What you get to do every day

• Working with CPA in completing monthly, quarterly, and year end close, on time and in an accurate manner
• Maintaining adherence to federal, state, and local legal requirements by keeping up to date on them, filing reports, and advising management on needed actions
• Carefully filing documents to preserve historical records
• Performing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including collections
• Assembling the trial balance and financial statements, including balance sheet and income and cash flow statements
• Completing bank and general ledger reconciliations; processing payroll for up to 100 employeesThe Full Charge Bookkeeper (PT Full Charge Bookkeeper) will have at least 3 years experience in bookkeeping, experience in QuickBooks or Sage/PeachTree, and the ability to work independently as needed.   • QuickBooks or Peachtree experience preferred
  • 3+ years experience in AP/AR
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Capable of working independently with minimal oversight
  • Be able to adapt and thrive in constantly changing environments
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Background in payroll preferred
  • High school diploma or comparable diploma with an AA degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred
  • Proficient in accrual and cash basis of accounting
