We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Building Services Manager.As the Building Services Manager, you will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members! You will be responsible for overseeing the entire Building Service team at our community, along with giving directions to ensure high-quality day-to-day operations for the department. Along with overseeing the team members for our Building Services Department, you will also coordinate and supervise the various Building Services projects throughout our community. This includes things like apartment and home refurbs; landscaping and ground keeping; electrical maintenance and installation; heating and cooling systems; ordering project parts/supplies; ensuring all state and federal codes are met; and maintaining the Building Services budget.The ideal candidate is compassionate and works with integrity. Has a drive to succeed and approaches their job as if it is their own business, and is motivated to help and serve others.Qualified candidates will need: • Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of education and hands-on experience in the trade services. • 5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. • 5 years’ experience managing staff. • Strong understanding of building systems to include: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, Life Safety, carpentry, painting, floor coverings, etc. • CFM (IFMA), CHFM (ASHE), FMC (BOMI), or comparable certification preferred. • Possession of a valid Driver's LicenseThis is a salaried, exempt position with on-call status.Benefits:Touchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
