This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech and communication services within a dedicated educational environment in Eugene, OR. Serving as leave coverage through June 12, 2026, this on-site role focuses on supporting students with diverse needs as part of a comprehensive special education service area. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students with moderate to severe disabilities. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including school psychologists, behavior consultants, and augmentative communication specialists. - Implement communication systems using both low and high-tech augmentative aids. - Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and staff while ensuring confidentiality. - Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs). Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. - Valid Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communication Disorder Endorsement and/or Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License. - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-Speech) from ASHA preferred. - Experience working with students who have moderate to severe disabilities. - Familiarity with augmentative communication systems. - Valid Oregon Drivers License. - Strong oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment. - First Aid/CPR certification may be required.
