Job Description:
Our client, a leader in the electronics and chemical
distribution industry, is seeking a Gas & Chemical Technician to
join their team. As a Gas & Chemical Technician, you will be part
of the Operations Department supporting the Front End Day Shift.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills,
attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and
quality, which will align successfully in the organization. Job
Title: Gas & Chemical Technician Location: Tualatin, OR Pay Range:
$27.00, $29.00 once converted to full-time after one year Shift:
Front End Day Shift (7:00AM - 4:00PM), Monday through Friday for
training) What's the Job? Support the technical demands of site gas
and chemical equipment, ensuring optimal operation and safety
compliance. Perform cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and
gas systems, troubleshooting complex issues to resolve equipment
problems. Maintain adherence to operational, safety, and
maintenance procedures to ensure flawless execution. Support over
500 pieces of distribution equipment from various vendors, ensuring
their proper functioning. Participate in safety processes, quality
management, preventative maintenance, and training initiatives to
foster a zero-incident culture. What's Needed? High School Diploma
or GED equivalent. At least 1 year of experience as a maintenance
or equipment technician. Experience with chemical and gas
distribution equipment is preferred. Military mechanic training or
Navy Nuclear Power School experience is a plus. Ability to pass a
respirator fit test and comply with safety protocols, including
