Job Description Job Description ReconCraft is seeking an early
career Electrical Engineer to support the design and production of
advanced maritime vessels and platforms. Based in Clackamas,
Oregon, this role offers hands-on engineering experience in a
collaborative manufacturing environment, working alongside
multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver reliable power and
control systems for manned and unmanned marine applications.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Support
electrical and control system design for AC/DC power generation and
distribution. Perform load analysis and develop one-line diagrams,
schematics, and interconnect drawings. Select electrical components
and develop Bills of Material (BOMs). Create and maintain shop and
fabrication drawings for production. Translate project requirements
into compliant design documentation. Act as a technical liaison
between engineering and production teams. Support testing,
troubleshooting, and design refinement activities. Review technical
documentation for accuracy and compliance. Essential Job
Qualifications and Requirements: Citizenship Must qualify as a U.S.
Person as defined by 22 CFR ยง120.15 Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical
Engineering Technology (or graduating in 2026) Required Experience
and Knowledge: Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar
design tools Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems Strong
analytical, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented
environment Preferred Qualifications Interest in marine or maritime
systems Familiarity with CANBUS, NMEA 2000, J1939, Ethernet-based
protocol Work Environment Primarily office-based with limited shop
floor support Occasional physical activity for inspections and
