Associate Vice President of Clinic Operations (Behavioral/Mental

Samaritan Medical Group (SMG) seeks an innovative and strategic
leader to serve as its Associate Vice President of Behavioral
Health for all five of our communities. Samaritan Medical Group's
primary and specialty care clinicians serve residents of the
mid-Willamette Valley and central Oregon Coast. Part of the
non-profit Samaritan Health Services, the more than 500 physicians
and advanced practitioners of Samaritan Medical Group offer a full
spectrum of health care, including cardiology, oncology,
orthopedics, general surgery, hospital medicine, behavioral health,
internal and family medicine and much more. The AVP of Behavioral
Health will have the unique opportunity to improve and redesign
this team from the ground up by improving efficiencies, reducing
gaps and providing a seamless connection between Samaritan Health
Services and program partners. JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Responsible for
the oversight of the operations of integrated behavior health in
primary care and traditional mental health. -Collaborates with the
dyad-Senior Medical Director in conjunction with applicable
Hospital CEO(s) to ensure efficient and effective operations
through highly engaged staff and providers. Develops and executes
key strategic initiatives that extend the reach of the mission of
SHS. Oversees Directors, Practice Managers and staff. DEPARTMENT
DESCRIPTION The Clinic Administration teams at Samaritan Health
Services are committed to providing leadership and operational
support for our physicians, advanced practice clinicians and all
other employees that deliver care in our clinic practices.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Business
Administration or a related field or equivalent experience
required. Six (6) years of multi-clinic leadership experience
required. Experience or training with computer applications such as
Microsoft Excel and Word required. Grant writing experience highly
