(1.00 FTE),12-month, professional faculty position.
Reporting to the Vice Provost & Chief Information Officer (CIO),
the UIT Executive Director of Administration and Chief of Staff
(EDACOS) is a dynamic and strategic leader within the Office of the
CIO. This role demands a strong, decisive individual with proven
experience in talent management and a relentless drive to achieve
results. As a key proponent of the 'art of possibilities,' this
role is also crucial for the CIO's ambition to remain at the
forefront of educational excellence and innovation.
As a key thought partner to the CIO, the EDACOS will develop and
maintain close working relationships with the CIO and stakeholders,
both internal and external to UIT including UIT's HR Strategic

tasks with a broader portfolio of project work is essential.
As a member of the CIO Executive Team, the EDACOS will oversee the
annual IT Roadmap, IT Talent Development & Management, program
project portfolio, and financial and human resource planning and

activities is effectively and efficiently aligned with OSU IT
strategies. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a
strong track record of managing talent, proven record of managing
resources (including human and financial), driving organizational
success, fostering collaborative relationships across the
institution, and making data-driven decisions.

the wake of a comprehensive digital and business process
transformation. This pivotal role will collaborate closely with
University HR and University IT leaders to redefine the IT
workforce landscape, considering the implications of artificial
intelligence, competitive alternative knowledge paths, escalating
personnel costs, and transformative digital and business
processes.
The incumbent will be instrumental in reimagining and reshaping a
dynamic, ever evolving, and highly productive workforce that breaks
away from traditional norms. Leveraging IT and our large
administrative modernization program (AMP) impacted positions as a
test-bed, this role will pioneer innovative organizational
