Oregon State University's Veterinary Teaching Hospital is growing
and has an opportunity available in our Small Animal Hospital for a
full-time Float technician. We pride ourselves in providing the
highest quality medicine for our patients and superior instruction
for our veterinary students. Our clients are dedicated to their
pets, and we are committed to providing them with the care that
they deserve! We have multiple VTS technicians on our team, as well
as doctors who are board-certified in Anesthesiology, Cardiology,
Critical Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, Oncology,
Rehabilitation and Surgery. Our facility is newly expanded and
state of the art. Located in the beautiful Willamette Valley,
Corvallis is an easy drive from Portland, the Cascades and the
gorgeous Pacific Coast so that you can enjoy all that the PNW has
to offer.
We are looking for a technician who is compassionate, confident in
their skills and ready to impart their knowledge and wisdom to the
next generation of veterinarians. We value our technicians and
their contribution to the education of future veterinarians.
Technicians must be credentialed and able to achieve Oregon
certification within the first six months after hire.
Rotating throughout the Small Animal Hospital, Float technicians
assist with treatments, diagnostic testing and procedures in
multiple different specialty areas, including Internal Medicine,
Oncology, and ICU.
