Job Description:
The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for helping surgeons in
the operating room. OR Nurses will prepare the OR and the patient
for the procedure and make positive that all equipment is clean and
operating correctly.ResponsibilitiesOperating Room Nurse duties
consist of:
Analyzing the health of the patient before, during and after the
procedure.
Anticipate what the surgeons need and give instruments and medical
supplies to them during operations.
Preserving and labeling any items needed for lab work.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an OR RN within the past two
years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart
Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
