Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist (CT Tech) to join our radiology team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans on patients to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. You will work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures while adhering to safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform CT Imaging: Operate and maintain CT scanning equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physicians, ensuring all images are clear, precise, and meet required protocols. Patient Preparation & Care: Explain procedures to patients, assist with positioning, and ensure comfort during the imaging process. Monitor patients throughout the procedure, ensuring their safety and well-being. Administer Contrast Agents: Administer contrast materials (oral or intravenous) when needed, following safety guidelines and patient-specific requirements. Quality Control & Safety: Ensure that all imaging is done in compliance with radiation safety standards to minimize patient exposure. Properly use protective equipment and maintain safe radiation practices at all times. Collaborate with Medical Team: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper examination protocols are followed. Communicate any concerns or anomalies related to the imaging process. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of CT equipment. Perform routine checks, troubleshooting, and report any technical issues for maintenance or repair. Documentation & Record Keeping: Accurately document patient information, imaging results, and any relevant observations. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA regulations. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with advancements in CT technology and best practices through continued education and training.
