ID: 55511282 Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (15:00 - 23:30) Description: Swing shift with weekend rotations; 1500-2330Must be certified (IASCHM, CBSPD), have a 3 or above rating in Robotics and have worked in level II Trauma or similar facility (we have 20 ORs including L&D). The SPD unit serves 18 Surgical ORs, 2 L&D ORs, cath lab, and a multitude of clinics. We have nearly all specialties, including robotics. We are a Level II trauma center. We work with a multitude of vendors for tray instruments Stryker, Zimmer, Medtronic, Depuy, Aesculap, etc. This position will primarily be working in decontam and will rarely be assembling trays.POSITION PURPOSE: The Sterile Processing Tech I cleans, prepares, sterilizes and stores instruments, from across the Salem Health system. The tech also prepares case carts for the OR.Education High School Diploma or GED preferred.Experience A minimum of 5 years previous sterile processing experience is requiredLicenses/ Certification/ Registration Certification required at hire (CRCST or CSPDT) and maintained. Epic Charting experience is a hard stop requirement.For Allied positions, a specialty-relevant certification must be sent at the time of submission.Licensure: Oregon RN license is NOT required at time of submission pending is okay. Oregon CNA license must be in hand at time of submission. No pending Oregon CNA -or- expired Oregon RN/CNA licensure will be accepted under any circumstance.*Any license/background hits require a detailed written statement from the traveler and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Travelers with license or background hits are ineligible for 90-day temp license waiver. *Start/ RTO / Schedule Policy: Facility prefers to only book 3-4 weeks out from current date but check job descriptions for specific start date requirements. RTO must be finalized at time of submittal. Additional RTO requests after submittal may result in removal from consideration or contract cancellation.
