Radiation Therapist Location: Salem, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,898 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Clienttion Oncology Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Clienttion Therapist Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 13.5 Experience: Minimum of one (1) year Clienttion Therapy experience License: Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) State licensure required Certifications: ARRT National Radiology Must-Have: Basic operations of Linear Accelerators Experience with Varian TrueBeam or Edge, Aria Experience in a fast-paced environment treating 70-95 patients per day Description: The Clienttion Oncology Therapist is responsible for simulating and administering radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by the Clienttion Oncologist. The therapist must interpret the prescription and treatment plan accurately. Patient identification processes must be completed per department procedure. Audio and visual surveillance of the patient during treatment must be maintained consistently. The patient must be positioned accurately for treatment on each occasion. Image the patient as directed by the Clienttion Oncologist. Annotate portal images accurately as appropriate. Observe the patient for side effects of radiation, changes in behavior, or unusual reactions and report observations to the Clienttion Oncologist, nurse, or supervisor. Use a digital camera to document treatment position and tattoos or field borders on the patient’s skin. Safely transfer patients from stretchers or wheelchairs using proper body mechanics and transfer techniques. Perform simple RadCalc calculations for emergency treatments as necessary. Construct quality immobilization devices that promote reproducible patient positioning. Tattoo patients accurately and visibly as appropriate while practicing safe handling of needles. Participate in daily chart rounds to coordinate patient care. Complete necessary chart checks per department policy. Perform weekly cleaning and checks of equipment as required and document appropriately. Fabricate custom blocks accurately when needed. Coordinate simulation with clinic to support continuity of care. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
