Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a local contract Radiology Technologist for a local contract job in Oregon City, Oregon. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/04/2026 - Duration: 52 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Radiology Technologist – Bone Density (DEXA) Location: Oregon City, Oregon Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift (Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) Compensation: USD $73,466 – $114,026 (Dependent on Experience) Position Overview We are seeking a qualified Radiology Technologist specializing in Bone Density to join our imaging team. This role focuses on performing bone density (DEXA) examinations in accordance with physician orders while ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety. The technologist will utilize advanced imaging equipment, clinical expertise, and professional judgment to accommodate individual patient needs while maintaining compliance with radiation safety standards. Key Responsibilities - Perform bone density imaging examinations as ordered by physicians - Select appropriate positioning, technical factors, and radiation dose calibration - Produce optimal image quality while adhering to ALARA principles - Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care - Maintain compliance with state licensing and national certification requirements Required Qualifications - Education meeting radiologic technologist certification and licensure requirements - Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License (upon hire) - ARRT National Certification required within 6 months (180 days) of hire - BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire) - New graduates must hold an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months Additional Details - Consistent weekday schedule - Long weekends (Tuesday–Friday workweek) - Competitive salary based on experience Interested candidates are encouraged to apply or reach out for additional information.
