Job Description:
Atlanta Gentle Dental is looking for a dedicated and skilled
Dental Assistant specializing in Oral Surgery to join our team! As
a key member of our healthcare staff, you will assist in delivering
advanced oral surgical care alongside our experienced oral
surgeons. This position not only provides an opportunity to develop
specialized skills but also contributes significantly to the
positive experiences of our patients. Our facility prioritizes a
gentle approach to dental care, ensuring a friendly and nurturing
environment not just for patients, but for staff as well. Assist
oral surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures. Ensure all
surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and
assembled. Provide preoperative and postoperative care instructions
to patients. Maintain accurate patient records and assist in
scheduling follow-up appointments. Manage inventory of surgical
supplies and equipment. Support patient comfort and address patient
questions or concerns regarding surgical procedures. Proficient in
using dental software and Microsoft Office. Strong understanding of
sterilization and infection control techniques. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Capability to perform
X-rays and prepare dental materials as directed. Ability to work
efficiently under pressure. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance

Certification. Certification in radiology as mandated by state or
local law. CPR certified.
