We are looking for open, enthusiastic, team-oriented therapiststo join us in serving our community and each other. About the Position This is a part-time or full-time position for a Clinical Therapist or our new clinic in Eugene, Oregon. As a therapist at Head Well, you will be a part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team that cares deeply about our patients and our communities. The Therapist will be responsible for providing psychotherapy in outpatient setting for a dedicated patients caseload and possibly ketamine-assisted/ integration psychotherapy for patients in our ketamine therapy and Spravato program. As the therapist, you will develop the patients individualized treatment plan in conjunction with our providers and work with our interdisciplinary treatment team to implement the plan. Head Wells admin team will assist therapist schedule individual, couple and family sessions with patients. Working with patients requires the ability and willingness for deep self-inquiry and self care. Making sure we can do this work for all people struggling with mental health struggles means taking on the difficult task of examining our own perspectives and biases. Important skills for the position: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with a diverse population Ability to build positive therapeutic alliances with patients and their families Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Patience and compassion when dealing with patients as well as co-workers Responsibilities: Facilitate initial evaluation with ability to assess and diagnose. Potentially facilitate groups with expertise, demonstrating ability to engage, set limits and monitor group process Familiarity with various treatment modalities and proficient in some including, but not limited to DBT,CBT and CBT-e, Narrative, experiential, attachment based an/or passionate about the specific evidence based clinical theory of your choice Provide individual, coupled and family therapy to patients with co-occurring disorders using evidence-based, trauma-informed and culturally competent interventions Utilize a multi-disciplinary team approach for the care and treatment of patients Develop treatment plans in conjunction with treatment team Participate and engage in weekly clinical individual and group supervision with curiosity and an open mind and heart. Actively participate in weekly staff and treatment team meetings Document in the EHR all assessments, counseling and education services, referrals, and follow-ups in the patients clinical record within 48 hours of service Manage crises and high-risk events following procedure and utilizing appropriate clinical interventions Be creative in therapeutic interventions to include homework assignments, community resources, etc. Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through Head Wells EHR system Maintain patient confidentiality as per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Comply with organizational, state and federal guidelines & all regulatory agency policies and procedures Perform other duties as needed Qualifications: Masters degree in clinical counseling or related discipline, at minimum Full State license in a counseling field in OR (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)- No QMHP DEA License- not requried Experience working as a therapist (at least 1 year) Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat independently Experience or strong interest in working with ketamine, Spravato and other novel psychiatric treatments Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Experience on an interdisciplinary team and collaborating with other healthcare professionals Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records Alignment with our practice's mission and core values Have knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices Job Type: Full-time Pay: $36.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 20-40 per week Benefits (for full-time): 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Medical Specialty: Psychiatry Ability to Relocate: Eugene, OR 97401: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Eugene, OR 97401
