International Health and Medical Services is looking for an
experienced Registered Nurse Manager to oversee the nursing staff
and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to
patients while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
This role includes managing daily operations, addressing clinical
issues, and fostering a collaborative environment to promote
optimal patient care and staff development. Key Responsibilities
Accountable for the management, supervision and evaluation of care
delivered by nursing and other allied health staff for assigned
areas on a 24-hour basis. Use appropriate consultation with experts
of each discipline he/she supervises to ensure that practice and
performance issues are addressed and resolved. Functions as a
clinical expert and is responsible and accountable for all elements
of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient
care. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of care
based on age specific components. Assumes responsibility for the
coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management,
and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.
Demonstrate sound decision-making and judgment and possess
excellent interpersonal skills. Collaborate with members of the
interdisciplinary team and leading innovative process improvement
initiatives. Execute position responsibilities that demonstrate
leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of
complex client care. Responsible and accountable for the direction
and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of
staff, and evaluation of individual staff performance. Function as
a role model, educator, practitioner, and supervisor providing
leadership to the team. Influence care outcomes by collaborating
with members of the interdisciplinary team to remove barriers and
implement new evidence-based programs and processes. Perform
initial patient triage and ongoing assessment and treatment of
acute/urgent presenting symptoms in collaboration with the
provider. Use critical thinking and excellent communication skills
to care for patients. Knowledgeable of an array of presenting
symptoms to quickly triage with appropriate use of nursing
protocols in providing evidence-based care. Take vital signs,
collects specimens for lab testing, administers medications,
administers IV fluid, performs 12-lead EKG as needed. Performs
point-of-care testing. Accurately documents care given. Strictly
follows all infection control guidelines to provide safe patient

listed above. Qualifications Basic Requirements/Certifications:
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered
Nurse in a State of Oregon. Minimum of six years of professional
nursing experience is required. American Heart Association (AHA)
Basic Life Support (BLS). Employees shall have at least one year of
general experience that demonstrates the following: The ability to
greet and deal tactfully with the public. Capability of
understanding and applying written and verbal orders, rules, and
regulations. All personnel shall be literate and be able to
interpret printed rules and regulations, detailed written orders,
training instructions and materials, and must be able to compose
reports. Good judgment, courage, alertness, an even temperament,
and render satisfactory performance through knowledge of his/her
position responsibilities. Ability to maintain poise and
self-control during situations that involve mental stress, such as
fires, explosions, civil disturbances, and building evacuations.
Education Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is
required. Physical Requirements: This position is considered
hazardous duty. Required to walk unaided at a normal pace for up to
5 minutes and maintain balance. Required to jog/fast walk up to ¼
mile. Requires physical exertion such as lifting objects greater
than 30 pounds. Required to perform CPR/emergency care standing or
kneeling. Must have the ability to assist sick, injured, or aging
patients or staff exiting the building (may require lifting,
dragging, wheeling, or carrying someone who weighs significantly
more than self). Must be able to see, hear and smell with aids if
necessary. Must be able to lift, push, or carry 30 pounds. Must
perform the duties of my job in a stressful and often austere
environment without physical limitations. Sitting and/or standing
for extended periods of time. Average manual dexterity for computer
operation. Phone or computer use for extended periods of time.
Other Special Qualifications: Minimum of 21 years of age. Must
maintain current/physical residency in the continental U.S. Pass a
medical examination conducted by a licensed physician within 30
days prior to initial assignment. Be a U.S. citizen or a person
lawfully admitted into the U.S. for permanent residence. Have
resided in the U.S. for the last five years (unless abroad on
official U.S. government duty). Successfully engage in and complete
a thorough Background Investigation. Poses or have ability to
obtain required security clearances. Proficiency in Spanish is
preferred. Additional Information Pay range is based on several
factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical,
financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be
determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills,
internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
