Polysomnographic / Sleep Tech Location: Coos Bay, OR Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $38 to $56 per hour Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Permanent (Full Time) Pay Rate: $37.72 - $55.98/hourly. Reedsport, Bandon, Coquille, Myrtle Point and North Bend are all locations by Hospital that would have options for housing with a 30 or so minute commute in. Again, there’s no traffic and would be a very scenic commute! Summary: Performs polysomnographic tests (PSGs), multiple sleep latency tests (MSLTs), and maintenance of wakefulness tests (MWTs), as ordered by physician. Skills and Abilities: Reads, writes legibly, converses effectively in the English language. Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and software programs applicable to the position, e.g. electronic documentation programs. Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location. Requirements Requirements: At least two years experience as a sleep technician in a hospital sleep lab Required, At least one or more years of experience as a respiratory therapist with an RPSGT or SDS in an acute hospital setting Required, BLS Certification, Registered as a polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) Required.
