working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Portland,
Oregon, 97225! Job Title: CVOR RN Profession: Registered Nurse
Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 16 weeks Shift:
Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: 2 years
of travel experience as Scrub Circulator in CVOR License: Valid
nursing license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Scrub and
Circulator experience preferred - Experience with various
cardiovascular procedures and technology Description: The position
requires responding to cardiac emergencies. The RN will perform
scrub and circulator duties. Weekends are required, specifically
from Saturday 06:00 to Monday 06:00, once per month. Travelers may
float between units based on skill sets and unit needs. Must
possess a vehicle for this assignment. The RN will be expected to
handle a patient ratio of 1:1. The facility is a short-term acute
care setting. All staff have the freedom to choose scrub colors for
their shifts, with specific colors provided for the operating
rooms. Charting is performed using Epic. Experience with hybrid OR,
coronary artery bypass graft, ventricular assist device, and other
specified cardiac procedures is necessary. The contractor will also
work with various support services including respiratory services,
pharmacy, and unit secretary. The RN must be flexible and willing
to float as needed to meet patient care needs. Failure to float
when requested may result in assignment termination. Interested
