Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Schedule: 3x12s (36 Hours/Week) Job Overview Adventist Health Portland is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. Located in beautiful Portland, Oregon, this 302-bed hospital provides advanced healthcare services and a collaborative environment for nurses delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive telemetry nursing care to patients in an acute care setting - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data - Perform patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans - Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders - Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patient families to ensure effective care coordination - Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management - Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care - Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing support staff - Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress Requirements Education - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred Experience - Acute care hospital experience – Preferred - Telemetry nursing experience strongly preferred Licensure & Certifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Oregon (or compact eligibility if applicable) - BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required - CPR Certification – Required - AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS – Required About Hanker Systems Inc Healthcare staffing at Hanker Systems Inc is focused on delivering the right talent to support quality patient care.
