Legacy Health is seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist Lead to oversee our mammography department's operations within our non-profit health system, spanning six hospitals and numerous health facilities across Oregon and Washington. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care through high-quality radiographic images, adherence to safety protocols, and effective team management. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in mammography with superb leadership skills. Supervise daily activities of the mammography department, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Provide hands-on leadership in performing and evaluating complex mammographic procedures. Train, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure continuous improvement in the services provided. Maintain accurate records of procedures, compliance activities, and equipment maintenance. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and service delivery. Expertise in mammography imaging techniques and technology. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and safety. Proficient in using healthcare IT systems relevant to radiography. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid and active certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additional certification in Mammography (M) by the ARRT. Compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to radiology.
