As a Pharmacy Technician in our outpatient department, you will play a crucial role in managing medication distribution and assisting pharmacists in ensuring safe and effective patient care. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with our diverse patient base and provide essential support in our fast-paced, dynamic outpatient settings. Assist pharmacists in prescription processing and accurately dispense medications. Manage inventory and restock pharmaceutical supplies to ensure availability. Counsel patients on medication use and storage, adhering to confidentiality regulations. Handle medication therapy management and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize care. Maintain accurate patient records and process insurance claims. Comply with all regulatory, health, and safety guidelines in handling pharmaceuticals. Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and electronic health record systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with emphasis on accuracy and precision Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medications, and drug use/safety Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred Registered Pharmacy Technician with the state Board of Pharmacy in Oregon or Washington
