In fact, we have seen several employees start part-time and they now have a full-time career managing their own hotel.A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A FRONT DESK SUPERVISOR /GUEST SERVICE SUPERVISORAs a Supervisor at our hotel, you arrive each day ready to get to work and do your part in ensuring that our guests are always greeted with a warm welcome during check in or check out procedures. You are friendly, customer service driven and attentive to details. You are a problem solver and understand the importance of the hotel guest experience. Since the front desk is the first impression to our guests, you play a critical role in our success!You perform an essential duty, handling the everyday needs of the guests. Check in/out, reservations and addressing guest questions or concerns are the primary focus of the position. Our guests appreciate your warm greetings and responses to special requests. Using your excellent customer service skills, you respond to our guests' concerns, complaints, or suggestions and refer them to management when necessary.QUALIFICATIONS FOR A GUEST SERVICE SUPERVISOR

  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and documents.
  • Ability to work flexible work schedule and must be able to perform all job duties within scheduled shift.
  • Must work well alone, unsupervised and can work harmoniously with coworkers.
  • Must exhibit positive interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations and to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Must be able to frequently move freely about the front office, maintain manual dexterity to access computer via keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, computer systems etc.
  • Must be able to complete data entry and use a various of computer operating systems, such as Opera PMS and Microsoft Office Products
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures including safety procedures and local, state and federal laws and regulations.Being bilingual or multilingual is a plus, but not required.
