Description Mental Health Professional for the Child &
Adolescent Psychiatry Unit at Providence Willamette Falls Medical
Center in Oregon City, OR. Per Diem/Day Shift This is a combined
posting for a Social Worker MSW, and a Professional Counselor
Associate. The requirements of each role are listed below under
each associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on

two positions, we encourage you to apply. The Social Worker MSW or
Professional Counseling Associate practices within an inpatient
psychiatry unit dedicated to serving youth ages 5-17. The position
will collaborate with other disciplines in the formation of
treatment plans and patient assessments while supporting the unity
in providing evidence-based and trauma informed care in small
groups and individually. Under supervision, this position will
utilize established approaches and standards; complete and
implement plans designed to promote patient safety; incorporate
evidenced-based approaches to psychotherapy. The position requires
experience with acute mental healthcare and experience in providing
psychoeducational & skills-based groups. Experience with
children/adolescents and knowledge of Collaborative Problem Solving

- Master's Degree in Social Work
- Within 60 days of hire: Oregon Clinical Social Work Associate
License Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years Clinical work experience within healthcare MIN: $35.32

PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree - counseling or related field.
- Oregon Professional Counselor Associate License upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year - Master's level practicum in a behavioral health
setting in an accredited college or university internship. MIN:
