Job Description/Skills: This is a fully remote position.
Summary: Our client has an opportunity to join our engineering team
as a Senior Software Engineer, focused on delivering cloud-native
applications that support our core technology platforms. About the
Role You’ll be part of a collaborative product team working on key
initiatives that support our platforms and customer experiences. We

execution. This role offers the opportunity to influence how we
design, deliver, and support software with a strong emphasis on
quality, observability, and shared ownership. We’re looking for
someone who enjoys not just building systems, but ensuring they run
smoothly and evolve sustainably over time. What You’ll Do Design
and develop scalable backend services and APIs using cloud-native
patterns in AWS. Write clean, testable code primarily in Python,
along with complementary experience in other backend languages.
Ensure systems are instrumented for observability, including
logging, tracing, and metrics. Collaborate on improving CI/CD
pipelines and deployment practices to increase delivery confidence.
Participate in design and code reviews, contributing to high
technical standards and shared learning. Work closely with product
and other engineering teams to align technical work with business
goals. Actively participate in evaluating and improving system
performance, reliability, and operational maturity. Contribute to
engineering practices that support long-term scalability and
maintainability. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s Degree in
Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field OR
relevant accredited technical certification, OR equivalent work
experience. 6 years of experience in software engineering, ideally
with large-scale distributed systems. Strong experience with Python
and at least one of the following – Java, .NET, Go, or other 3
years of hands-on experience with AWS as a primary cloud
environment. Experience designing and building backend APIs and
services in production environments. Familiarity with containers
and serverless patterns (e.g., Docker, ECS, Lambda). Understanding
of observability best practices, including logs, traces, metrics,
and alerts. A mindset of ownership and accountability, with strong
collaboration and communication skills. Familiarity with front-end
frameworks such as React is a plus, but not required. What We Offer
