Sysco, a leader in food product distribution to a diverse array of businesses, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Delivery Driver Supervisor. The ideal candidate will oversee our daily delivery operations, ensuring that goods are dispatched and delivered on time and in prime condition to our valued clients in restaurants, healthcare, education, and hospitality sectors. This role will be pivotal in shaping the efficiency of our delivery processes, directly contributing to the satisfaction of our customers and the overall success of Sysco. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate distribution of goods to various client locations. Develop and implement efficient routing systems that minimize travel time and maximize customer satisfaction. Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, compliant with transport regulations, and are operated in a safe manner. Conduct performance evaluations, providing feedback and training to help staff meet and exceed Sysco's operational standards. Handle staffing requirements and team schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all times. Resolve issues or complaints regarding delivery service, and provide prompt solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational and communication skills Proficiency in route management software Deep understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards Ability to work under pressure and manage logistics in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred Certification in Supply Chain Management a plus
