Knife River has an immediate opening for a Quality
Assurance/Quality Control Technician in Corvallis!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the
* Sample and test aggregate, asphalt and concrete in accordance
with specifications and standards. * Assure all safety policies and
procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions,
processes and behaviors observed. * Other duties assigned as
needed. Minimum Qualifications: - Quality Control experience
preferred, but not required. Training will be provided. * Good
math, record keeping and problem solving ability. * Computer
spreadsheet experience preferred. * Engineering and statistics
background helpful, but not necessary. * Ability to study, take and
pass QC certification exams with adequate time and training
provided. * Must be able to lift material samples of 75 lbs.
approx. 10 to 15 times per day and on occasion more depending on
duties required. * Ability to work overtime. * Strong communication
skills and positive interactions with a variety of customers
required. * Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background
check, physical/functional exam and drug screen. * Display a
professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and
