The Medical Surgical Nurse Manager will oversee a staff of over 85 full time employees, and will be supported by numerous excellent charge nurses. The Medical Surgical Nurse Manager will report to the Director of Nursing Services.

The Nurse Manager Medical Surgical and Telemetry Services will oversee a 36-bed unit which sees a variety patients recovering from Medical conditions, Surgical procedures and cardiovascular ailments. The Medical Surgical Unit will see a diverse patient population, which a large number of Ortho and Surgical Patients. 

The Nurse Manager Medical Surgical Services is expected to lead this staff, and continue to raise the bar of excellence the Medical Center is known for. The Medical Surgical Nurse manager will assume fiscal responsibility for the unit budget, serve as a liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promote maximum growth and development of each employee, support nursing research and assure patient advocacy.
