JOBThe Benton County Health Services Department is currently seeking a Registered Dietitian / WIC Certifier to join the team.Job SummaryAs a member of an interdisciplinary team, our Registered Dietician / WIC Certifier provides nutrition assessment, intervention and education to individuals and families, including high-risk counseling; develop individual care plan based on nutritional assessment; and conduct clinical and community level outreach, education, enrollment, retention, recall, and navigation services. This is a part time, benefit eligible position at .6 FTE (3, 8-hour work days weekly).Click here for a complete list of the duties, responsibilities and physical requirements of this position.First Review of Applications will be on 1/19/2022Minimum QualificationsThe following minimum qualifications are required for this position: Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or a related health science field; AND1 year of related health services experience.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. Please note candidates must have at least 6 months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent.Special Requirements: Registered Dietitian Licensure required.Valid Oregon driver's license. This position requires driving and may require use of a personal vehicle. Hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.Benton County requires all Health Services and Clinic employees to complete their COVID-19 vaccination series or have an approved exception to the requirement due to a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.
