involves the safe and efficient operation of various types of
construction equipment including but not limited to Loaders, Back
Hoes, Track Hoes, Water Trucks, Etc. By doing so you'll play an

DOE w/ potential for overtimeHours: Primarily work 10 hours per
day, 6 days per week, and up to 7 days per week as needed during

(Essential Duties and Functions)
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently by utilizing equipment
within its designed parameters.
- Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper
barricading.
- Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
- Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems
to the supervisor.
- Keep machines clean and maintained.
- Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards.
- Keep time and material records.
- Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications.
- Knowledge of weight requirements of loads leaving the pit.
- Travel to and from various locations.
- Assist labor crew including shoveling, raking, and compacting
of asphalt materials.
- Routinely assist other members of the workforce in different
areas of production.
- Promptly communicate with paving crew on any flaws in
material.
- Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Regular and timely attendance.

environment.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. -Minimum Qualifications: -
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, site specifications,
simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. -Ability to
write simple correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

- Ability to carry out detailed written or oral
instructions.
- Valid driver's license required. -
- Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance,
attendance, and punctuality. -
- Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment
controlled substance testing. -
- Demonstrates the ability to work overtime and weekends as
needed.
- Demonstrates the ability to conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA,
DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations.
- Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain
without company assistance prior to start date.Preferred
Qualifications: -
- One to two years construction related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
- Mechanical skills, basic knowledge of aggregate products a
plus.Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job,
the employee is occasionally required to crawl, kneel, bend, and
reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must
occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 50 lbs. Physical
abilities test will be required. Reasonable accommodations may be
