Content Specialist/Lead Writer
The ideal candidate is self-directed and detail oriented, with a
strong understanding of positive social media engagement. The top
candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication
skills, with a critical ability to understand various brands
quickly, to ensure digital writing efforts follow the client brand
image and reputation.
This position is responsible for:
Successfully satisfying and completing digital writing projects,
effectively, on time, and within scope of the project work and
Customer-facing digital content creation efforts, following the
brand voice and tone across digital channels. Daily work includes
writing, reviewing, proofing, editing, publishing and in some
cases, reporting on the success of content effectiveness.
Understanding the use of different styles and tones, and how the
nuances in each will be received by the addressee.
Documenting or updating process and protocols for digital content
development and content strategy as needed.
Writing content for various channels including social channels (for
example, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube,
Pinterest, or others as identified).
Developing relevant, engagement-focused social response content
that meets the needs of the social audience in respect to the
client's brand attributes and services.
Other duties may be assigned.
Social media savvy, with an ability to work in a fast-paced,
dynamic environment to deliver a broad range of content
deliverables in support of multiple, varying audience needs,
including a mix of technical and marketing focused
Must be a strong supporter of process and process orientation; must
be able to drive and manage process adherence.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Proven work quality to deliver accurate, thorough and on time
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks with minimal
Ability to deal with ambiguity and change.
Ability to understand complex requests, and to resolve ambiguity
and other issues through consultation with the appropriate subject
Attention to detail as a primary strength.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong
organizational skills are a MUST.
Set up own workspace, loading/unloading software, and general
Technical writing and marketing knowledge, with experience working
across various functions, businesses and regions (desired).
