Paradigm is looking for a Test Technician to support our client HP Inc. on their Specialty Printing Systems team in Corvallis, OR. This position involves performing varied tasks in manufacturing and R&D environments.Type 2 year contract, full time, on-siteLocation Corvallis, ORPay Rate DOEBenefits Medical, dental, vision, life, 401k, PTO, sick daysResponsibilities Of The Test Technician* Perform testing, manufacture, assembly, installation or processing of components, subsystems or systems for the purposes of reliability audits, current product qualifications, failure analysis and other current product support needs* Ensure that all test activities are properly executed and reported and suggest test directions* Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical sub-systems including, motion controllers, printers, computers and related hardware* Compile actionable, evidence-based reports on the results from test, qualification, reliability audit and failure analysis activities* Performs tasks to assist other test technicians and test engineers. Actively involved in defect finding & trouble shooting, reporting and verification, suggesting root causes & reporting test results.* Schedule work for designated area of operation* Collaborate with other work units and departments* Adhere to workplace safety requirementsRequirementsOur skills and experience wish list includes * Strong understanding of all major aspects of computer hardware, firmware, and software on multiple platforms* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required * 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, testing, or similar hands-on environment* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite* Experience with color science is a plus* Technical Associates degree is preferred * A+ certificate preferred * Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and other data management is a plus BenefitsParadigm offers medical, dental, vision, life, 401k, PTO, and sick days.About Us, ParadigmWant to love Mondays?
