Job Description:

The mission for this position is to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. Apply knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation as required to keep plant and equipment functional to meet needs of the food processing plants and farm operations. WHAT WE OFFER $45-50 an hour depending on skills and experienceImmediate health benefitsImmediate invest in 401KResponsibilitiesEquipment maintenance and repair of electrical and process control systemsDiagnose problems, codes, execute necessary repairsPrepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runsPerform troubleshooting and repair of production machinesRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required repairs, maintenance and serviceProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during productionDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustmentsDetect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervisorProvide routine information to and solicit situation specific information company wide from employees, managers and external relationships and general inquiriesPerform other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsThree to five years of verifiable experienceAny combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to handle the job descriptionOregon plant journeyman electrical or general journeyman license requiredAdditional degrees or certifications in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferredPLC and food processing experience a plusNH3 refrigeration experience desirable but not requiredStrong electrical troubleshooting skills requiredFlexibility on work schedule to meet requirements of harvest; swing shift positionAbility to operate independently within defined parameters with little or no supervisionThe statements made in any and all of the position postings are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
