Skills REQ: Level 2 trauma exp required, level 1 preferred. Acute Hospital OR, Decontamination and Disinfection, Preparation and Handling, Sets/trays assembly, Equipment Documentation, Cardiac, ENT, General, Laparoscopic, Neurology, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, Biological and Chemical indicators, Steam Sterilization Testing/monitoring, Sterrad Testing/monitoring, Answer and Triage phone calls. Epic Experience REQ? No First-Timers Accepted: Yes but Travel experience is preferred. Weekend REQ: TBD National Certs REQ: CRCST or CBSPD required BLS REQ: No Is on-call REQ? Yes, potentially on weekends. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No Open to accommodating block schedule? Patient Diagnoses: Level II trauma, Spine, Robotics, Ortho, Total Joint, Cardiac. Case cart - instruments. Decontam - OR, floors, Outpatient. Endo - Flex Scopes. Patient charge. Clean- basins, pitcher, linen packs Special Procedures/Unit Details: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Responsible for the coordination, assembly and distribution of supplies, equipment and instruments for surgical cases. 2. Re-stocking inventory. 3. Cleaning, decontaminating, disassembling and sterilizing instruments and supplies. 4. Operate a variety of sterilization equipment. 5. Clean and maintain department equipment.
