Job Description:

MissionThe mission for this position is to be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close. Develop and implement marketing plan which will meet business goals of expanding customer base. Work within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient & professional administrative support to the National Retail Sales Managers and retail sales department staff.
  • Assist Sales Managers with food shows, broker trainings, buyer meetings and store visits. Travel could be up to 30%.
  • Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
  • Assist and work with the Marketing Manager and Sales Managers on the implementation of company market plans as needed.
  • Responsible for completion of all new customer referrals.
  • Forward samples by entering requests; arranging shipments and notifying customer.
  • Complete tradeshow planning and packing.
  • Assist Sales Managers with tracking, entering and analyzing both internal and external sales information by line.
  • Responsible for all consumer calls and emails.
  • Maintain and update various tracking spreadsheets for consumer issues and complaints.
  • Complete understanding of all retail lines.
  • Assist Sales Managers with R&D on new products and packaging for Retail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Minimum Qualifications
    • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
    • Minimum H.S. diploma or GED; University/College degree strongly preferred.
    • Willingness to travel and work in a team of professionals.
    • Proven ability to achieve sales goals.
    • Leadership skills, integrity, and commitment to professional responsibility.
    • A self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and set priorities
    • Ability to operate independently within defined parameters with little or no supervision.
