Clatsop Care Memory Community is seeking dedicated caregivers who are passionate about supporting residents living with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. Must meet Division background check requirements. Must demonstrate and interest in and ability to work with residents with dementia and challenging behaviors in a calm and confident manner. Ability to work independently and prioritize with multiple tasks, interruptions, and priorities. Must have good communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to work with cleaning products in safe manner. Ability to maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and the public. The employee must frequently lift and/or move a resident by mechanical or non-mechanical means. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to focus.
