Job Description Job Description Warehouse Order Selector Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a temperature-controlled environment, particularly in food and beverage distribution. This role involves operating equipment such as EPJs and electronic pallet jacks, both single and double. You will be responsible for picking orders using onboard POS computers, paper pick sheets, RF scan guns, and barcode sticker printers. Additionally, you will receive and unload inbound freight, verify and inspect products, and assist in inventory management, including cycle counts and date coding. Responsibilities Operate EPJ and electronic pallet jacks in a fulfillment warehouse. Pick orders using onboard POS computers, paper pick sheets, RF scan guns, and barcode sticker printers. Receive and unload inbound freight, verify and inspect products, and forward information to the receiving clerk. Break down pallets, restack, restock, palletize, stage, and load outbound trailers. Assist in inventory management, cycle counts, and date coding. Essential Skills Experience in cold storage distribution with a tenure of 3-4 years. Proficiency in forklift operation and experience with riding electric pallet jacks. Familiarity with RF scanners, order picking, and pallet jacks. Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English for various tasks. Ability to operate different configurations of forklifts and handheld scanners with training. Good judgment in operating forklifts safely and handling customer products efficiently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in food distribution. Ability to work in a cold environment and withstand cold temperatures. Physical capability to stand, sit, and walk throughout the day, with repeated twisting at the torso while lifting, pushing, and pulling inventory from shelves. Regular lifting capability of up to 20 to 100 pounds. Why Work Here? Full clothing bibs are recommended to ensure comfort and safety while working. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
